impromptu moments
i didnt dare to think so much after the Tuesday surprise but you continued to surprise me everyday.
i am happy i brought you to a new cafe in joo chiat for instagramable shots
i am happy i got to walk along the whole stretch with you by my side
i am happy i got to take bus and train rides with you though it was a short journey.
i am happy i got to check out restaurants that you frequent.
i am happy eventhough time with you is so short.
Wednesday morning i was greeted with a message i was not expecting.
i was thinking you needed time to catch up on work or need some time to manage your private life, so i didnt message you.
i end up spending another lunch and teabreak with you.
little by little bits and pieces of confessions start to surface.
as we talk and talked, life seems so unpredictable so its best i let you know my true feelings.
I never tot life would bring us back to this point.. yet here we are agn, reconnecting in a way that feels both familiar and new...
ReplyDeleteit feels like our story has travelled such a long road. you crossed my mind countless times in the years we drifted apart. maybe timing really does matter… maybe we needed all those in-and-out moments to finally meet again in a way we can truly appreciate. I duno if I deserve to be called lover but I’m grateful you still keep me in your life after all these years. even when we weren’t close, a part of our story quietly stayed with me. and now that our paths have crossed again, I just want to hold this gently and sincerely ❤️
